VENDOR IMPORTANT QUESTIONS (VIQ's)

Do you have questions for your vendors?

I definitely do!

This week for my Planner Point, I'd like to chat with you about your vendors.

These people, who you have booked and paid for, are your A-Team! If they are not in-it-to-win-it you may want to reconsider their services. The ones that you choose to help organize, design and entertain your big day should be just as excited as you are. Hopefully they are well organized (just like you!) and ready to help make your day amazing.

Just starting to look into your vendors? Great! This will be fun, promise! Your A-Team can be sought out in many ways.

  • Have you experienced them from an event you went in the past (ex: DJ)? A first hand reference is the best way to know. If you like what you saw in the past, surely you'd like them for your wedding too. Vibes and personalities can be felt as a connection quickly.

  • Word of mouth is another perfectly ideal way to meet your future A-Team. Did your cousin get married? Did they just love their wedding photos? Did you see them? This is a prime example of how word of mouth (and word of experience) can travel and create a new connection perfect for your big day.

  • Of course, there is always the old-fashioned research style of meeting. Google vendors near you and see who pops up. Do they have raving reviews? Are they an expert in a certain style or theme/look that you can't live without? Connect with them, set up a meeting and chat about what they can offer you. Great vendors will also know instantly if you are not a good match (don't take it personal and they shouldn't either) Its okay if after your meeting, you realize you just don't click. Reach out to another optional vendor until you meet the perfect match (like you and your fiance!).

Be prepared when you meet with your vendors.

Always, always, ALWAYS ask questions. Speak your mind. Your vision. Your plan. Bring it all up. Make sure that your vendor is excited for your vision just as you are. Being on the same page will have a better success rate for your wedding.

I wanted to share a brand new (and secret!) freebie - JUST FOR YOU!

I've comprised the most important questions for specific vendors into a well organized list and I have it here for you!

This list will be a game changer for your vendor meetings! I care SO MUCH about you having the wedding of your dreams and I know this list of questions to help bring those dreams of yours to life :)

I hope you enjoy this top secret freebie. If you're in the neighborhood and would like to share your experience with booking your vendors - DM, call or email anytime! I'd love to hear from you.
